Admission to various programs at the University is based on academic merit. Applicants are expected to hold qualifications that are acceptable to UNSW for admission. Applications are assessed on the basis of results achieved in those qualifications and for some degrees, relevant work experience.

For entry to Undergraduate programs, Pakistani students are required to hold a bachelor degree or one of the international qualifications such as IB and A levels as listed.

The entry requirements to Postgraduate coursework vary depending on the programmes opted. Before applying for a research degree a student will need to match the area of interest to one of the faculties or schools and contact them.

English requirement: The University recognises a number of English Language tests which can be undertaken to meet the University’s English language requirements.

Fees: Tuition fees for international students at the University are set at course (subject) level rather than at program level.

Scholarships: Scholarship opportunities to support current and new students range from annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs, to travel scholarships and supplements.
