I am extremely honored to be a part of this university. It is one of Australia's premier learning and research institutions. It is the oldest university in Queensland. The University is also a founding member of the national Group of Eight. Being here and studying here has been one of my best decisions. This has provided me with the best time of my life. The course i chose to pursue also has excellent faculty and class size is small which encourages interactions and discussions. I've gained a lot from The University of Queensland and am really happy to be here.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

The university requires a Bachelor's degree in any field with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7 point scale. In addition to this an IELT Score of minimum 6.5 with 6.0 on all sections is also required. The admission procedures can be easily completed with the help of Planet Education in India if you are an Indian Student as I had taken their help regarding this.

ratingFunding and scholarships

Scholarships are available through grants and loans. But to avail these you need to apply early and also have good academic scores. Other opportunities of financing your education might be available in the University and around but I'm unaware of them.

ratingYour study experience

The course is for a duration of 1.5 years and the class size as I mentioned above is small and encourages discussions and interactions with each and everyone. One main thing that I like about my class is that each one is unique and has a different background, like some are from marketing, some are from human resources, some are engineers, some are from the information technology domain. This really adds value to our class and hence everyone see's one issue with different dimensions and perspectives.

My classes are at the University of Queensland's St Lucia campus. This place is considered by many to be Australia's most attractive. It is located 7 km from the city's heart on a magnificent site in a bend of the Brisbane River and the campus has expansive landscaped grounds and many playing fields. Its a beautiful place to study and live in and I really enjoy the climate. Also, the people here are very nice and soft spoken.

ratingJob prospects

I joined this course as I wanted to get into a senior management position. This course is best suitable for this. The University of Queensland's graduates have a strong record of success in attaining employment and income levels well above average. UQ qualifications are highly regarded by employers everywhere and our graduates form a powerful network of success across all industries and endeavors in all corners of the globe. For this reason I am confident that when i pass out, I will definitely be able to find employment and succeed in the global front.
