Course description:
This program covers basic and applied topics relevant to orthodontics. These include cephalometric theory and practice, craniofacial anatomy, development and morphology, biological force systems and their application, radiology and radiography techniques. Major clinical pursuits include orthodontics, dental and craniofacial anomalies, cleft lip and palate, and interdisciplinary management of complex malocclusions.
Entry requirements:
Students must have Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours I or IIA) or equivalent and minimum two years of graduate clinical experience. Overseas trained applicants may be required to undertake a theory and clinical skills assessment. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS academic: overall score of 7.0 with a minimum writing score of 6, TOEFL: overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) and TOEFL (CBT): overall score of 237 and a minimum score of 4.5 in the Essay rating.
