Course description:
The course delivers a mixture of off-the-job and on-the-job training in our purpose built patisserie kitchen and in our off campus commercial kitchen facility at luxurious five-star Langham Hotel Melbourne, providing on job practical demonstrations and participation from college students for all units of competency. Highly creative patisserie skills are developed including sugar and chocolate decoration, and patisserie display work as well as several Human Resource coordination functions; such as supervision and team leadership.
Entry requirements:
Student must be aged 18 and above to apply for this course. Pre-requisite completion of the Certificate IV in Hospitality (Patisserie) before commencing this 'steam' of study.
